Tembi met her life partner while on vacation in Italy. Saro, the lucky one, has always stated that their meeting was love at first sight for him. Three years later, they were absolutely in love with each other and seeking happiness in their marriage.
In 2002, they were surrounded by misfortune in an otherwise happy and joyful environment. Saro was diagnosed with an incredibly rare type of cancer. Despite their circumstances, they remained hopeful and found comfort in each other. For a decade, Tembi helped her husband with her medical procedures in any way she could, and they even adopted a beautiful daughter, Zoela.
