Foluso Falade is a project manager and contestant on The Apprentice 2024. She is the founder of Brandinit, a Social Enterprise for young people aged to start their own Brand.

Manchester-born Foluso wants to help young people get a head start in business, as the self-proclaimed ‘Mary Poppins of business’. She wants to run the first Social Enterprise to win Lord Sugar’s investment.

Speaking about her biggest business success to date, Foluso told the BBC: “My biggest success to date is choosing to start a business aimed at helping young people, it was a gamble, but I believe it will be my best business success.”

When asked about her biggest business fail, she said: “I thankfully haven’t had anything fail, but the biggest learning point so far has been starting with what I have and understanding that I must work within my means with building upward as my goal.”

Foluso got her passion for business from her mother who owned a shop in Manchester for 25 years. She said: “My passion for business comes from my mother who has owned a shop in Manchester for 25 years – my entire life. I’ve always been inspired by her perseverance, and passion to keep growing and she’s inspired me to take a leap of faith and believe in myself.”

Foluso Falade is a contestant on series 18 of The Apprentice, fronted by business tycoon Lord Sugar alongside his trusted advisors Baroness Karren Brady and Tim Campbell MBE. The BBC series sees the hopeful business candidates battle it out for the opportunity of a lifetime for Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment and mentorship.

Sharing why she thinks she deserves Lord Sugar’s investment, Foluso said: “I am a one-of-a-kind type of person, an investment in one that guarantees profit. With my people-focused attitude, I plan on building an empire in an ethical way, whilst raising up inspiring people along the way.”
