When discussing his pottery, Fynn expressed, “I’m captivated by texture and sketchy illustrations—anything that allows me to breathe life into elements of nature and history through clay.”
The Cornish environment offers Fynn a wealth of inspiration. He shared, “I’m equally fascinated by the wild weather and the remnants of old mining sites as I am by the plants, insects, and often-overlooked details of the landscape.”
Fynn strives to reveal a different perspective of Cornwall, saying, “I enjoy showcasing a side of Cornwall that doesn’t make it onto postcards—the rugged, weathered beauty and the small creatures that people often overlook.
