Maxwell was 201, not out, and helped his team win their 2023 World Cup game against Afghanistan. Despite suffering extreme cramps midway through his innings, Glenn refused to back down. 

Furthermore, Maxwell battled through the pain, relying more on big hits than running between the wickets. Not only that, but Maxwell showed great determination by staying in the game, even when he could hardly run for singles.

Before that, Australia’s match was against England, in which Maxwell couldn’t play due to a leg injury.

As said earlier, Glenn Maxwell couldn’t play in their 2023 World Cup game against England due to his leg injury. Reportedly, he suffered a concussion in a golf-related incident.

Maxwell was riding on a golf cart from the clubhouse to the team bus at Kalhaar Blues and Greens Golf Club when he accidentally let go.

Reportedly, it was a quick 300-meter ride, and there weren’t enough carts for everyone to sit. This was not the first time he was injured as last year, Glenn suffered a broken leg when he slipped at a friend’s birthday party.

At that time, Maxwell was ruled out for nearly five months. Later, he recovered and came back to the action.

Glenn Maxwell health update is completely fine, and the news has been making rounds after his recent injury in a game. As said earlier, Maxwell gave his best despite having some issues.

He suffered extreme cramps midway through his innings against Afghanistan. Australia captain Pat Cummins also played down injury concerns to Maxwell.

Cummins was also sure that Maxwell would be fine soon. After the game, he said, “Yeah, I’m sure he’ll be fine. He was cramping, but I think you saw out there how much he loves playing for Australia and do anything to play.”

Cummins continued, ” So, I’m sure it’ll be fine.” Furthermore, more updates related to Maxwell’s injury may be shared in the future.
