Furthermore, the lawsuit claims that after Moore fulfilled his obligations for a 2024 production deal, over $800,000 in royalties were withheld from him. Through these actions, Moore alleges that Gyamfi cost him millions of dollars.

Maverick City Music has issued a strong and categorical denial of all claims made by Chandler Moore. Through a statement from co-founder Jonathan Jay, the group labeled the allegations as “wildly untrue” and “categorically false”. Jay characterized the lawsuit as a “calculated attempt to strong-arm a way out of agreements Chandler made freely and later breached”.

The organization maintains that its business dealings with Moore were “forthright, generous and above reproach,” and it welcomes a full legal examination to clear its name.
