The Runnels County Clerk’s office gave a report noting that Galvan was sentenced to 15 years in prison. He received a 15-year prison sentence, with 10 years for intoxication assault charges running together.

Furthermore, Galvan is eligible for parole after serving half the sentence. Runnels County District Clerk Tammy Burleson anticipates that he will remain in the Taylor County Jail until the necessary paperwork is processed.

Javier Galvan Sentenced To Jail For Killing 3 People In 2021

As said earlier, Javier Galvan was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the death of three people in 2021 after an accident. The incident happened on June 13, 2021.

Not to mention, Galvan was fatally injured in a head-on collision with another vehicle near Winters. The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that Galvan tried to overtake multiple vehicles on SH 153 around 10:20 p.m.

This resulted in a collision with another vehicle carrying five individuals The collision caused the other vehicle to catch fire, resulting in three fatalities, including a 7-year-old girl.

Additionally, two other children sustained critical injuries and were taken to a hospital in Abilene. The news was shared and it went viral instantly.
