Jeff Wittek is an American YouTuber, barber, and social media personality who gained popularity for his comedic and vlogging content on YouTube. 

Besides, Wittek initially started his career as a barber and owned a barbershop in Los Angeles. He rose to prominence through his appearances on the YouTube channel of David Dobrik, a popular YouTuber and social media influencer.

According to a YouTube video by FR Media, Jeff was in jail for drug dealing and possession just before he became famous. Before becoming known for cutting hair, he was involved in selling and using various substances, including marijuana and cocaine.

His bond came out to $61,000, which is why Wittek had to spend some time in Wayside LA County. Speaking to Durte Dom on his podcast, Wittek revealed that although the whole experience was scary at first, it soon became dull.

Not to mention, Wittek was involved in a serious accident in 2020 while filming a stunt for one of his YouTube videos. The accident occurred during a video shoot involving a construction excavator and a rope swing.

Furthermore, Wittek attempted to swing from the excavator’s arm, but the stunt went awry, resulting in a traumatic injury.

As a result of the accident, Jeff Wittek suffered significant injuries to his face and eye. He required multiple surgeries and underwent a lengthy and challenging recovery process.

Furthermore, some images of Jeff’s injured eye can also be found, which have been posted by multiple online sources. Jeff underwent multiple surgeries to address the damage, and the road to recovery was both physically and emotionally challenging. 

The respective accident of Wittek gained a huge amount of public attention. In June 2022, it was revealed that David Dobrik was being sued for $10 million by Wittek in relation to the 2020 accident. 

Dobrik said Wittek knew the stunt was risky and shouldn’t blame him for the injuries. He also asked the judge to dismiss the complaint and not award anything to Wittek.
