Jess admits to becoming “obsessed” with perfecting her pastry skills and will practice over and over until she has mastered a technique. With an Australian father and a Dutch/Maltese mother, Jess draws on all aspects of her heritage when it comes to her baking.

She added: “It feels surreal to even write those words. Somewhere between the butter, the mess, and the endless late night in my kitchen, this little dream of mine started to grow. And somehow, it led me all the way to the Bake Off shed.”
