He admitted to being “in love” with the victim and indicated his desire for a romantic involvement with her.

Haines City High School Teacher Affair With Student

Haines City High School teacher was arrested following a report of his inappropriate relationship with a student.

The 23-year-old teacher, Kevin Rodriguez-Febus, said he was the boyfriend of the victim, and they had been involved romantically.

The victim, whose identity has been kept hidden because of privacy concerns, told the authorities that they were in a “dating relationship.” 

She also told the authorities that they had been talking through an online dating service and had met on several occasions on dates.

Kevin Rodriguez-Febus did not hesitate to hide it either. He claimed they loved one another and were in a relationship.

An informant, possibly a friend of the victim, contacted the authorities, deeming the relationship to be inappropriate. 

Because of the informant’s courage, Febus has been inside the bar, facing charges for his crimes.

While the police have not revealed the age of the victim, it can be assumed she was a minor. Kevin Rodriguez-Febus admitted to being in an inappropriate relationship with the victim.

As Febus was forthcoming about the charges and did not try to hide anything, he has been arrested and will face charges for his crimes.

He admitted to several acts of inappropriate conduct with the student. The authorities were involved after an informant alerted them.

Following the investigation, the school has said his employment there will be terminated. 

They have pledged their support to the authorities and will cooperate with the investigation.
