The Real Housewives of Miami’s Kiki Barth truly embodies the essence of a fashionista and a friend. Although she has given viewers a peek into her life before, for the current Season 7 of RHOM, Kiki disclosed to The Daily Dish that she was prepared to unveil more of her personal side to the audience.

“You know, it’s very surprising for me because I’m such a private person. I never really like to reveal too much of my personal life. But I just feel like the fans were asking, and I also wanted them to know a little bit more about me. And, you know, many people didn’t even realize I have children. So bringing my kids and my dad into the picture, I just think my story could potentially help someone else out there,” Kiki explained in our exclusive June conversation with her. “And I thought it was essential to share a little bit more with the fans. There is still so much that people don’t know about me yet. But, I mean, this is a baby step. We’re making progress.”
Kiki Barth shares updates on her kids
Kiki is a proud mom to her two kids: her 5-year-old daughter, Summer, and her son, Shamar, who is currently in college. So, how does he feel about having a mom on the Real Housewives?
“Well, my daughter doesn’t really understand. She doesn’t really understand what the show is about. But my son, he’s excited. For the past few years, he didn’t really want to be on the show. But this season, he kind of was more open to it,” she said. “I think now he’s older, he’s 19 years old. He’s in college already. I don’t know, I think he’s just excited ’cause his friends will come up to him and say ‘Oh my god, we see your mom.’ And now they get to see him. So I think it’s just exciting.”
Kiki also revealed how she feels having a son who is college-aged: “I mean, I’m still pinching myself. I’m like, ‘Wait a minute, like, what’s happening? How?’ But, you know what, I look at myself every day, I say ‘wow, I’m so proud.’ I’m like, you did it. Not only you did it, you did it all on your own. Your son is off to college and it’s a proud moment for me, and also I’m happy. He’s off, now I get to have more time for myself, just be me.”
Does Kiki Barth have a boyfriend?
Now that Kiki has some more free time, she revealed her current relationship status as she navigates life as a single mom. She is dating, but not in a serious relationship. And she’s come up with a new strategy when it comes to dating.
“Well, of course, there is a balance for everything. We have my mother, who’s helping me with my daughter. My son is not here; he’s off to college, which is great. And my mom, whenever I have to work, she’s at home helping me with my daughter. As far as dating, yeah, I date. But I’m not out on dates like I used to be,” she said. “I’m a little bit more picky now.”

From there, Kiki revealed her process when it comes to her dating life. “And I’m like okay, let’s say 100 men ask me out, I’ll probably pick five and say, okay. I learned to nail them down instead of putting so much energy into all of them,” she said. “So I will literally pick like five, and then I’ll go out with them and then it comes down to two. And then after that I’ll be [like], maybe this one, I can go to two or three dates and see where it goes. But as far as right now, I am dating, but there is one person in particular that I’m really a little bit more fond of. But it’s nothing serious, we’re just dating.”
What’s next for Kiki Barth’s modeling and fashion career?
Kiki has already made a name for herself as a model, but that doesn’t mean she’s lost the passion for that aspect of her life.
“I feel like as a model I’ve pretty much done a lot, but there’s never enough. For me, modeling is a passion. I will never be too old, especially nowadays, you can model at whatever age. So I never let go of an opportunity 20 years from now, I’ll still do it. ‘Cause that’s, it’s a passion,” she said. “Something that I love to do.”
However, she would like to build on her name in the fashion industry in her next moves in her career. “But of course I would love to eventually have a fashion brand. You know, it’s never too late to start,” she said. “So yeah, that’s one of my goals and I will go for it.”

Kiki Barth reveals updates on her house and living situation
Kiki currently rents her home in Miami and is hoping to one day buy a property to call her own. “Of course, I would love to purchase. I haven’t buy a home yet. I’m still renting. But the goal is now hopefully by next year. I’m already actually starting to look,” she said of her plan to buy a home in order to have a property to pass on to her kids. “So now the goal is to, you know what, it’s best instead of spending your money renting, get a home.”
