Kristen Doute and Nia Sanchez Booko have recently become mothers to their daughters. Both members of the cast of The Valley had their babies in June. Their anticipation for this moment had been building up for weeks and months before, and they were overjoyed at the thought of what lay ahead for them during the postpartum phase.

Both Kristen and Nia spoke to The Daily Dish while they were still pregnant back in April, where they admitted that there were just a few things that they had wanted to do post-labor that they couldn’t have done over the past nine months.

“Botox… I’m actually joking,” Kristen said, before listing off a number of things that she wanted after her daughter, Kaia Lilly, was born. “Margarita, tattoo, micro-blading.” (More on those plan below.)

Nia, on the other hand, was looking forward to having a “spicy margarita.” “Botox for sure,” she added.

But, Nia admitted that postpartum life would be looking a bit different for her this time around. This is because she and her husband, Danny Booko, are now the parents to four children under four years old. Together they share 3-year-old son, Asher Booko, 2-year-old twin daughters Zariah and Isabelle Booko, and newborn daughter, Adelaide Booko.

“Honestly, this postpartum season, it’s going to be hard with three small kids at home,” she said. “But I really just want to take in as much time as I can, heal [and] mentally, emotionally, physically recover.”

“That’s not a lot,” she added. “So we’ll do what we can do.”

In a separate interview, also ahead of their baby’s birth, her fiancé, Luke Broderick, told The Daily Dish that he was really looking forward to being a first-time dad for so many reasons. “I can’t wait to strap a mini-me to my body and continue doing a bunch of cool stuff,” he said. “Kristen and I will definitely give our daughter a lot of different experiences. She and I came from two different worlds, you know, as adults, and I can’t wait to have her out in Colorado.”

He added, “And when she’s up and walking, I’m going to introduce her to everything I love to do, and hopefully, there’s some overlap…Whether it’s fishing, hiking, golfing, anything outside, hopefully she likes doing something with me.”

When chatting with The Daily Dish, Kristen elaborated more on her plan to get inked with Luke, admitting that she was most looking forward to getting a tattoo with her partner. “So Luke only has two tattoos. I have a ton,” she explained. “And Luke’s second tattoo was a matching tattoo with me a month after we met, so now we’re going to get another matching tattoo. But I don’t know what it is.”
