Krystsina is a Belarusian athlete specializing in sprinting.

Tsimanouskaya apparently got selected to participate in the Summer Olympics in the 100m and 200 m events only. Later she was forced to take part in the 4x 200 m relay without her consent which she opposed and had to seek protection from Haneda Police.

Her full name is Krystsina Siarheyeuna Tsimanouskaya.

However, the details about her personal life have not been revealed much. She has successfully kept her information about her parents and childhood a secret.

Talking about her career, Tshimanouskaya took part in the first international event in 2015 at the European Junior Championship in Sweden for 100m and 200m, where stood 6th and 17th respectively.

She then had a breakthrough after winning a silver medal in the 100 meters at the 2017 European U23 Championship.

Similarly, the athlete has also secured a gold medal in the 200 meters at the  2019 Summer Universiade in Naples, Italy. She has also won a silver medal in the team’s event at the 2019 European games in Minsk, Belarus.

Krystsina recently made headlines after she was taken to Haneda Airport under coercion by the representatives of the Belarusian Olympic Committee after she openly criticized them for entering her in a 4×200 m relay event without her consent.

She later asked for the help of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and was safely taken by the member of Tokyo 2020.

She was supported by an exiled Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya who wrote on her Twitter that the runner was “forced by the regime’ to leave the game. The athlete was “scared to come back to Minsk.”

She was born on November 19, 1996, in Klimavichy, Belarus. Her zodiac sign is Scorpio.

The sprinter’s actual height measurement has not been made public.

It seems that Krystsina Tsimanouskaya has deleted her Instagram account following the controversy.

She faced criticism through her social media handle.

As per Reuters, she expressed the carelessness of her coaches in her post. She also stated that she was asked to compete in the relay after some participants were found ineligible to participate in the game. 

The 24-year-old athlete reported to the news agency Reuters that she has decided not to go back to her country.
