You might be shocked to discover that Ocean Kent Emmett, Lala Kent’s first daughter, greatly resembles her mother. However, considering the strong personality of the former Vanderpump Rules cast member, this revelation is likely unsurprising. Lala has recently provided some insights into her 4-year-old daughter that highlight their similarities.
To mark Ocean’s recent 4th birthday back in March, Lala opened up about her little girl, and in the process of paying homage to the kid, we couldn’t help but notice they share a few personality traits.
“My first and forever baby is 4 today. I often look at her and think, ‘Where did you come from?’ Ocean, you are the funnest person I know. To watch you grow into your own little human is a luxury to watch. You are smart, you are brave, you are kind, you are beautiful, and girl, you know what you want! I am unbelievably proud to be your mom. I love you, O. As always, continue to make waves, happy 4th birthday! God bless you.”
Lala Kent shares an update on Ocean’s personality
Much like her mom, Ocean is also quick to voice her opinion. In fact, Lala shared an anecdote about her eldest daughter that proves that to be the case on a recent episode of her Give Them Lala podcast. “Ocean is good. She’s logical. There’s a kid in school who thinks he’s Batman, and she lets him know, you’re not Batman. Your name is Blank. And he’s like, ‘No, I’m Batman.’ And she goes, ‘No, you’re pretending to be Batman, but you’re not Batman.’ So I’m like, oh, bursting bubbles at the ripe old age of 4. Love it.”
In the caption of the Instagram post featuring the clip from her podcast, Lala further revealed, “I said ‘What if someone told you, you weren’t a princess?’… she said, ‘I wouldn’t care because I’m not. I’m Ocean.’”
Lala Kent reveals why she named her daughter Ocean
On another episode of her podcast, Lala also revealed how inquisitive her little girl is about herself and the world around her. “Ocean is now putting two and two together of like, I was named after the ocean. So on the way to see the sea elephants, I told her like, do you know why mommy named you Ocean? And she said, why, mom? I said, because the ocean is very powerful ocean, just like you. And she goes, I love that.”
How many kids does Lala Kent have?
