Hudson McLeroy may not have been born in New York, but he is determined to succeed in Manhattan. As a member of the cast of Next Gen NYC, he is in a relationship with Ariana Biermann and is fully committed to chasing his aspirations with his partner in the bustling city.

Hudson is the son of Zach McLeroy and Carol Ann McLeroy. He has two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister.
Who is Hudson McLeroy’s dad, Zach McLeroy?
Hudson’s dad, Zach McLeroy, is the founder and current chairman of the chicken-forward fast food chain, Zaxby’s, which serves a variety of chicken “fingerz,” wings, and sauces. He started the fast food restaurant in 1990 near Georgia Southern University, which has since expanded to more than 600 locations, according to Forbes, and he is now worth more than $1 billion. Zach is embedded in the foundation of the restaurant, as Zaxby’s is a play on his name, according to the publication.
Hudson took to Instagram in 2023, where he posted a photo of him and his dad standing outside with their Lamborghinis. He then took to the caption of the post, where he gave some insight into their father-son relationship.
“Never thought I’d be 21 and own a car like this,” he wrote. “I remember being that excited little 10 yr old telling my dad ill come home one day in a Lamborghini and that day finally came.”

Hudson and Ariana have been dating on-and-off for a very long time, with photos of them on Ariana’s Instagram account dating back to 2018. Ariana started posting about Hudson again in 2022, sharing the cutest photos of them together, hanging out. They both moved to NYC together in July 2024, and had their apartment search process documented on Next Gen NYC, as seen in the video above.
Hudson took to his Instagram account this past October, where he wrote the sweetest message for Ariana in honor of her 23rd birthday. “I’m so lucky to have been the person God paired you with,” he wrote in the caption of the post. “It’s no walk in the park being a young couple that’s moving your entire lives three times within twelve months. I knew it wouldn’t be easy living in a new city where our family and friends are now a flight away and no longer just a short drive, but we are making it work for us one day at a time.”
