Tia Gorrell car accident has left the community in shock and sorrow, as her life took an unexpected turn in the blink of an eye.

In Assumption Parish, a multi-vehicle collision claimed one woman’s life and injured another.

A pregnant woman died in a three-vehicle crash in Assumption Parish on Tuesday, August 1.

State police identified the victim as Houma resident Tia Gorrell, 23. The collision occurred on Highway 308, south of Highway 1011, just before 11 am.

Troopers from the Louisiana State Police are investigating the crash.

Louisiana Tia Gorrell Car Accident Details

The 2014 Jeep Wrangler, driven by 38-year-old Kendall Dollar, was traveling south on Highway 308 when it crossed the center line and collided with two cars going the other way for unspecified reasons, according to LSP.

According to investigators, the jeep struck the 2016 Toyota Corolla that Gorrell was driving head-on before it sideswiped a 2014 RAM 2500 and the camper trailer it was towing.

Gorrell was pronounced dead at the scene. LSP reported that Gorrell was pregnant.

With moderate injuries, 38-year-old Kendall Dollar, the driver of the Jeep, was transported by AirMed to a hospital in New Orleans.

According to State Police, Gorrell and Dollar’s toxicology results are still pending. During the crash, everyone involved was secured in a seat belt.

According to LSP, charges are still pending, and the investigation is ongoing.

The circumstances surrounding the disaster are still quite painful because they took this pregnant woman’s vibrant life very suddenly.

She was traveling down a well-known road when unexpected events occurred, leading to a collision that would change everything.

On Facebook, Danisha Williams, a Houma, Louisiana resident, said she could not post because it would require her to accept something that doesn’t even feel genuine.

When Danisha made sweethearts, she claimed that Tia was the first to embrace her with open arms.

Danica stated Every time they were together, Tia would check on her and make her giggle. She saw Tia as a little sister and thought she was an excellent role model.

“Knowing you and being in your presence was a blessing. Your contagious energy left a lasting impression on everyone you’ve ever encountered. “I will always treasure the moments I spent with you,” Danisha Williams penned.

Moreover, Brice smiled with a heart as huge as hers. She thought that connections of any kind were valuable. The light in her attracted everyone to her.
