The 36-year-old leader, Manuela is the youngest candidate among all the candidates for that position. 

In 2015, she also presented her presidential candidacy on the list of the New MAS. 

In the last legislative elections of 2017, she was the first candidate for the nation’s deputy for the Left in Front, an alliance between her party and the MST.

Additionally, she was also the only woman pre-candidate for the presidency among the seven alliances competing for the presidency in the 2019 elections 

Besides, Manuela is a staunch defender of the decriminalization of abortion and also calls for a specific budget to eradicate gender violence.

Moreover, she is one of the few women who is expected to lead the province of Buenos Aires.
