Michael Hennessey Biography
Michael Hennessey is an American journalist who works for FOX 8 WGHP in Greensboro, and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He has served WCTI- Newschannel 12 in eastern North Carolina as a Greenville bureau reporter.
This is where his career and passion began. For 11 months, he worked as a camera operator and commentator for Northeast Sports Network. For another 7 months, he worked as a news correspondent and sports writer for Caledonian Record.
He developed a reputation built on trust when he broke some of the region’s most impactful stories. From natural disasters and animal attacks, Michael was spearheading FOX 8’s national coverage of major crimes.
Hennessey is an alumnus of Northern Vermont University. During his time, it was referred to as Lyndon State College. In 2012, Michael received his bachelor of science in Television Studies from the university.
