Ann Felton died on the 1st of October 2007. Her death cause has been proven as her prolonged illness of cancer. Here’s why her case needs a talk.

Ann was having challenged health for many years before she died. But she had fought with the illness for a long time.

But the life-taking disease, cancer took her life.

Who is Ann Felton?

Ann did her schooling at Colston’s Girls’ School. She pursued her further study in nursing.

The ambitious lady then got married, had two children then continued her studies in 1982. Ann was a hygienist. She studied at Bristol Dental School and became a qualified hygienist.

In 1994, she helped on the Oral Health Education course at Briston Dental Hospital. She successfully set up the course on her own. Earlier she did a volunteer job also.

Ann is a very hard worker, and she gave her effort to the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy. Her writing skill was excellent that she was a stickler for grammar and spelling.

She showed her talent in writing poems, plays, and articles too.

Ann worked at various practices until settling at Colin Harvie’s on the Wells Road. She remained there till her health declined. Her kindness towards her patients so during her illness her patients sent her many well wishes. 

How Did Anne Felton die?

Ann had been fighting for a long time with her illness. She had breast cancer. 

It was not easy to deal with cancer as it can break down people mentally and physically. But she had fought with her cancer bravely. She was 65 when she passed away.  

She was first detected with cancer in 1993 which she overcame and went into remission. But after 12 years she was rediagnosed with secondary breast cancer in the bone which took her life.

In 2007 she died peacefully. The British Dental Association launched BDA Scholarship in 2010. The scholarship is called the Ann Felton Scholarship.

The book, written by her on ‘A basic guide to oral health education and promotion has been published. It was published on February 17, 2009.

How Old Was Anne At The Time Of Death?

She was born in Bristol in 1942. She lived for 65 years. She grew up in the suburb of Knowle.

Anne lived for 65 years and sadly her battle with cancer ended with her loss.

Felton was married to her husband Dave. The couple met in Knowle through the church badminton club. 

They had bored two children, Sarah and Simon. She always longed to have grandchildren.

Luckily before she died, she was able to spend some time with Simon’s kids, Benjamin and Edward.
