Phaedra Parks is sharing sweet new updates on her boyfriend, Cheick.
Phaedra made her first appearance with Cheick on Season 11 of Married to Medicine. In Season 16’s finale of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she proudly introduced him to the cast.
Cynthia Bailey only had sweet compliments for him, declaring “Phaedra[’s] got a cute little boyfriend!”
She shared details about her relationship with Cheick, who she affectionately calls “Che Che,” revealing that they had been together for about four months and jokingly referring to him as a “little young whippersnapper.”
“I wasn’t even looking for a man,” she confessed. “But honey, he showed up and showed out.”

Phaedra and Cheick are still going strong today. The RHOA finale hinted at their enduring romance by stating that “her chocolate prince Che Che is still satisfying her sweet tooth.”
In The Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show video above, Phaedra confirmed she is still with Cheick, stating, “He’s a sweetheart. I’m having fun!”
She added, “He is the sweetest, kindest, most generous guy in the world.”

Cheick was first introduced to Phaedra and Married to Medicine viewers during Season 11, Episode 8, when she met him during Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford’s Sweet and Savory Speed Dating Event.

Although her new relationship is going well, Phaedra revealed that she’s not considering walking down the aisle.
“At this point in my life, I’m not really interested in marriage,” she said in the June 30 finale episode. “I have never been happier. I like to have a good time. You know, I love a good date.”
On the After Show, she added, “I’m not trying to get married…I’ve done that.”
Phaedra has expressed similar re-marriage sentiments before, following her divorce from her ex-husband, Apollo Nida.
“During my divorce, I was in a really dark place,” Phaedra said on Season 10 of Married to Medicine. She added, “I guess because I did have a very bad divorce—I was in love, I was so happy—and it went crazy like super quick.”
She’s explained in the past that money is part of her decision.
“[Remarriage is] not something I’m interested in, because I’m very wealthy, and I can take care of myself,” Phaedra said during a panel at Bravo Fan Fest in Miami in November 2024.
She continued, “I like to be able to call the shots. Women, you know, when you have a husband, sometimes you gotta be…nice.”
But Cheick has shared that he could be open to marriage.
“I’m not necessarily looking for a wife, but I’m open,” he said during Season 11 of Married to Med.
How does Phaedra Parks’ ex-husband Apollo know her new boyfriend, Cheick?
During Married to Med Season 11, Cheick told Phaedra, “I know your ex.” But he and Apollo had varying stories on the degree of their relationship.
“Cheick said he knew Apollo from the club,” Pheadra said at the time. “And who doesn’t know people from the club? I didn’t know they’re close friends.”
However on a couple’s trip to Key West on Married to Med, Apollo told the group he’s with Cheick “every week” and called him “my boy.” But Phaedra was okay with the connection between Apollo and Cheick.
“I think being transparent about knowing someone’s wife is very important, but it doesn’t bother me at all,” she said at the time. “Apollo’s married. I’ve definitely moved on. So I don’t see a problem with it whatsoever.”
