Porsha Williams opened up about the unexpected death of her cousin, Yolanda “Londie” Favors, on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 finale.
She expressed the emotional turmoil she is going through while supporting her family after the loss of her cousin, Londie. The confessional revealed the deep impact Londie had on their lives, making the situation especially challenging for her.
In Episode 17, aired on June 29, Porsha and her sister Lauren Williams sought the assistance of professional mortician Phaedra Parks to organize a homegoing service for Londie. This was to honor Londie, who tragically passed away in August 2024 at the age of 34. Porsha mentioned that they had taken on the responsibility as Londie’s mom and sister were currently unable to manage the arrangements due to their overwhelming grief.
During the meeting at Phaedra’s house, Porsha further revealed that Lauren was on the phone with Londie when she died.
Porsha shared in a producer interview that she received the heartbreaking news about Londie’s distress while at work. Within a short span of an hour or two, they had lost Londie. Porsha fondly remembered Londie as an incredibly generous individual, emphasizing how shattered she feels by the loss.
