RAF Camora Biography
Raphael Ragucci known by the stage name RAF Camora is a famous Austrian dancehall and hip-hop artist and producer now based in Berlin. He is famous for RAF 3.0 and Raf0Mi. Prior to this, Ragucci is one of the most successful German language artists and has released five studio albums as well as two collaborative projects with Bonez MC.
RAF was born and raised in Vevey, Switzerland. He has been involved wth some popular crews like French-speaking Assaut Mystik and the French Connection crew. Moreover, he has collaborated with both Assaut Mystik and Balkan Express to release a joint album. In 2006, he released his EP Skandal with Emirez. Raphael is also a founder member of the band Balkan Express together with rapper Joshi Mizu.
On top of that, Ragucci released his own debut mixtape, Therapie Von Dem Album, which was followed by his proper debut, Nächster Stopp Zukunft as RAF Camora in 2009. In 2010, he announced he was changing his name to RAF 3.0, to reflect his personality as a musician. Prior to that, Raphael also signed a contract with Vienna-based Irievibrations Records with whom he released the self-titled album RAF 3.0 in 2012 and Hoch 2 in 2013. Both albums were huge successes on the German, Austrian, and Swiss charts.
Additionally, RAF has collaborated with famous artists like Nazar, Bonez MC, Maxwell, and rappers Gzuz. He released the joint album Artkore with Nazar and a platinum-awarded album Palmen aus Plastik with Bonez MC. Likewise, he launched his own record label Indipendenza in 2013. In addition, Ragucci made another huge success in 2016 and 2017 when he released his albums Ghøst and Anthrazit which were on the top chart in countries like Germany, Austrian, and Swiss.
Besides that, Camora made another hit after the release of a new album, Zenit on November 2019. Shortly after it was released it peaked at number one for two weeks on Ö3 Austria and Schweizer Hitparade, and for one week on Offizielle Top 100.Moreover,he has also received numerous gold and platinum certifications for his albums. In 2020 he was awarded the Bundesverdienstkreuz.
