Rhea Ripley has made it clear that she’s not on good terms with at least one of her former Judgment Day allies. Once a founding member of the faction, Ripley’s relationship with the group fractured after being betrayed by Dominik Mysterio at last year’s SummerSlam.
Her disdain was evident during a recent segment on WWE’s YouTube channel titled “The best advice Dirty Dominik Mysterio ever gave me.” The video included appearances from Judgment Day members Finn Balor, Raquel Rodriguez, JD McDonagh, and former allies Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. CM Punk also featured, taking playful jabs at Dominik.
But Ripley wasn’t subtle—she completely ignored Mysterio throughout the segment.
Ripley mocks Dominik Mysterio’s name and legacy
As WWE celebrated 20 years of Dominik Mysterio’s history with the company—going back to his first storyline in the infamous custody angle with Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero—Ripley showed no interest in recognizing his legacy.
“What’s funny is that I don’t recall that name at all. Are you sure he’s been working here for 20 years?” Ripley said at the beginning of the video.
When prompted again later in the segment, she doubled down:
“Dominik Mysterio, not Rey Mysterio? Like actual Dominik. I honestly don’t know who that is.” [From 1:15 – 1:22]
She continued, “[He] must be good if he’s been here for 20 years. But I don’t know… honestly can’t be that good because I’ve never heard of him.” [From 2:03 – 2:08]
By the end of the clip, she was unwavering in her denial:
“I don’t think there is anything, ’cause I don’t know who that man is, to be completely honest with you. So, I do not recall knowing him in my past or the present or even the future. I don’t know any advice he’s given me. Sorry. Baffles me really.” [From 2:50 – 3:08]
Fallout from betrayal and current rivalries
Ripley and Dominik were once a dominant force on RAW during their time with Judgment Day. But their alliance crumbled when Liv Morgan entered the picture. In Ripley’s absence, Morgan gained Dominik’s trust, even teaming with him in mixed-tag action.
At last year’s SummerSlam, during Ripley’s title defense against Morgan, Dominik interfered—distracting the referee and allowing Morgan to hit the Oblivion on a chair to secure the win. After the match, Dominik sealed the betrayal by kissing Morgan on the entrance ramp.
Ripley sets her sights on championship gold again
Ripley returned to title contention at Evolution, where she clashed with IYO SKY in a heated match for the Women’s World Championship. However, Naomi stole the moment by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract to capture the title.
This led to tensions boiling over between all three women on RAW. General Manager Adam Pearce later confirmed a Triple Threat match for SummerSlam.
Rhea Ripley will look to reclaim her place at the top and capture the Women’s World Championship once again when The Biggest Party of the Summer arrives.
