Riley Fox parents have been a topic of interest for people. On June 6, 2004, Riley Fox, a 3-year-old child from Wilmington, Illinois, was killed.

Following Riley’s father’s initial accusation and subsequent exoneration based on DNA evidence, parolee Scott Eby confessed to the crime and was found guilty.

Warren and her group breathed new life into a probe that had practically come to a standstill. She claimed that the agent had been anxious to investigate the case for some time and was committed to finding Riley’s killer.

In an exclusive interview with “20/20,” Warren said, “There’s no way you can’t desire justice for this child. I saw this young girl who was just so beautiful and exuberant.

On June 6, 2004, Riley was discovered dead in a creek near her home in Wilmington, Illinois. She had been gagged, bound, and subjected to sexual assault. It was later established that the toddler had drowned and died.

Recently, people have been interested to learn about Riley Fox parents, Father Kevin and mother Melissa Fox Hodgen.

Riley Fox Parents: Father Kevin And Mother Melissa Fox Hodgen

Riley Fox Parents were Father Kevin And Mother Melissa Fox Hodgen. Riley’s father Kevin Fox had picked up his children from their grandmother’s home on June 6, 2004, the night of Riley’s abduction, at around one in the morning.

Kevin Fox, the girl’s father, was initially accused based on a forced confession. He was imprisoned for eight months before DNA evidence indicating someone else had committed the crime allowed him to be released.

He placed Riley on the couch and Tyler, Riley’s older brother, on the living room chair because the children’s beds were missing clean sheets and blankets.

After watching TV in his room, he went to bed at 2:30. Tyler woke him up the following morning and informed him that Riley had left. He looked around and asked around, then dialed 911.

Riley was discovered dead later that day at the Forsythe Woods County Forest Preserve, a public park in Wilmington. She had been sexually assaulted, bound, and gagged before being found face down in a brook.

Death Of Riley’s Father Kevin Fox

Kevin Fox, a former resident of Wilmington who was wrongfully detained by the Will County Sheriff’s Department in the summer of 2004 for the death of his 3-year-old daughter Riley Fox, died on Monday in an Arkansas head-on collision. Fox was 46 years old.

Kevin was among the bravest clients I have ever had, Fox’s wrongful conviction attorney Kathleen Zellner said in a letter to the editor of the Joliet Patch on Tuesday.

He will be regarded as the greatest parent a person could have ever been to his children. The fact that he passed away so young is tragic.

The awful news was also announced by Zellner on her Twitter account. She informed Patch that Fox, his new wife, and their two little daughters—ages one and two—were all residing in Arkansas.

An Arkansas news source claims that on March 21, 2023, at around 4 p.m., the Arkansas State Police were called to a head-on collision where both drivers perished.

A 47-year-old Arkansas man was operating the Ford Focus while Fox’s GMC Sierra was moving north on State Highway 7.

The Ford Focus struck his GMC Sierra as it entered Fox’s lane. Both accident victims were Centerville, Arkansas, residents. In June 2004, Kevin Fox was initially accused of killing his daughter.

Fox confessed to the crime when being questioned by Will County detectives but was later cleared through DNA evidence after lawyer Zellner sought to have “inconclusive” saliva samples tested in a private lab.
