Crimes & Arrest Of 24-Year-Old Robert Louis Singletary Parents

On Thursday, April 20, 2023, Robert Louis Singletary was arrested in Hillsborough County, Florida, following a several-day search. Singletary was accused of shooting a 6-year-old neighbor and her parents in North Carolina after a basketball rolled into his yard.

As per several neighbors, the incident began when a ball rolled into Singletary’s yard, and he shouted at the children who came to retrieve it. One of the kids then informed his father, who went to Singletary’s house and confronted him, saying, “Stop cussing my kid out. If you got a problem come to me,” according to witnesses.

After this altercation, Singletary went inside his house, came back out with a gun, and opened fire on the neighbors, injuring the young girl and her parents.

Robert was charged with four counts of attempted first-degree murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury.

As per analytics, Louis Singletary was also charged with assault and kidnapping in December 2022 for allegedly attacking his girlfriend with a mini-sledgehammer.

Furthermore, Singletary has been charged with keeping the victim in his apartment for more than two hours and threatening to kill her. As of now, the charges are still pending, and he has not entered a plea. On December 15, 2022, he was released on a $250,000 bond.
