A 39-year-old male, Scott Sherman, and a 29-year-old female, Jessica Aguirre, were arrested on murder, weapons, and drug charges.

When the police responded to reports of a shooting near the 00 block of South School Street, they found a 54-year-old Hispanic man lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.

The body was found 20 feet away from Scott Sherman and Jessica Aguirre’s residence, and upon searching the house, enough evidence was gathered for their arrest.

While the charges have not been proven, Scott Sherman and Jessica Aguirre were arrested for murder and other charges.

The 39-year-old Scott Sherman, a realtor, was arrested with the 29-year-old Jessica Aguirre on suspicion of murder, weapons, and drug charges by the Lodi Police Department detectives.

The body of a 54-year-old Hispanic man was found on the 00 block of South School Street, 20 feet away from Scott Sherman and Jessica Aguirre’s residence. 

However, the police have kept the victim’s identity a secret until the next of kin is found. He lost his life despite the extensive efforts of the first responders to save him.

The police called out the house’s residents, but only Aguirre came out. Sherman was removed three hours later by the SWAT team. The detectives found ammunition, firearms, and drugs at the residence.

While there is no direct connection between the victim and the arrested suspects, they were reportedly involved in some altercation before the shooting.

It is still unclear if it was a drug deal. The arrested suspects have no connection to the victim or any businesses, but enough evidence was gathered from their residence for their arrest.

The victim’s has been withheld until the next of kin is found. He was provided CPR by the responding team and transported to the hospital. He tragically passed away in surgery.

The police believe a verbal or physical altercation occurred between the victim and the alleged murderers. The body was found 20 feet away from Sherman and Aguirre’s residence.

Simple negotiations drew Jessica Aguirre out of the residence, but Sherman had to be removed by the SWAT unit and taken into custody.

The police arrested Jessica Aguirre and Scott Sherman on murder, firearm, and drug charges.

Even though the victim and the two are not connected, enough evidence was gathered from their residence for their arrest.

The recent update of the case reveals that the two have been placed in custody, as the 53-year-old Hispanic man was pronounced deceased during surgery.

The body was found 20 feet away from their residence, and police reported that a verbal or physical altercation occurred between the victims and the two.

A gun, ammunition, and drugs were found at the residence. The two were arrested on those charges.

While Jessica Aguirre came out of the residence after simple negotiations, Sherman had to be taken out by the SWAT personnel.
