Scott Storch, renowned record producer and songwriter, recently condemned Kanye West (Ye) for his controversial remarks about Jewish people. Appearing on the PBD Podcast on June 20, 2025, Storch shared strong opinions, which quickly gained traction online.

In a now-viral clip, Storch expressed deep disappointment with the rapper, stating:

“If I was in a room, I’ll probably fu**ing crack him in his face. And like, he broke my heart.”

During the interview, host Patrick Bet-David asked Storch if he had collaborated with Ye. Storch acknowledged West’s musical talent, calling him a “musical hero,” but expressed that his admiration had been shattered.

“As a person who was my friend and somebody I thought was an amazing person, one of the most creative people, turned out to be a fuing piece of sh*t,” he said.
“The disrespect this man showed to Jewish people—labeling us, glorifying Hitler, and doing it again—it’s unforgivable. I will fu
ing lose it if I see this guy in public.”

Storch also mentioned Jay-Z, who has frequently worked with Kanye, revealing that he asked Jay to convey how deeply hurt he was by Ye’s actions.

“I thought I was his friend. But I guess I can’t be his friend ‘cause I’m Jewish,” Storch added.
“Imagine someone glorifying slavery. How would that be okay? That’s what this feels like.”

Petition Calls for Kanye West to Be Removed from Rubicon Festival

Kanye West is slated to perform at Rubicon Festival in Bratislava, Slovakia, in July 2025. However, growing backlash has led to a petition demanding his removal from the lineup.

As reported by TVP World on June 26, 2025, thousands have signed the petition, citing Kanye’s public praise of Adolf Hitler and his inflammatory social media posts. The petition claims that allowing Ye to perform contradicts “European memory and historical responsibility.”

“In his music, [West] glorifies the person of Adolf Hitler, the leader of the regime responsible for unleashing the largest military conflict in human history, responsible for millions of civilian deaths and the systematic extermination of nations, including the genocide unleashed against the Jewish population around the world.”

Despite the backlash, festival organizers have defended their decision, stating their intention was only to feature popular artists—not to endorse any extremist views. They confirmed that, as of now, no legal measures have been taken to stop Kanye’s appearance.

Kanye West has not publicly responded to the criticism.

Recently, Ye also drew attention with his controversial single Heil Hitler, which faced backlash for its provocative lyrics. He is expected to release two upcoming albums titled Bully and In a Perfect World.
