Pack your bags (and knives) and get ready to head down south. It’s been confirmed that Top Chef Season 23 will head to… the Carolinas.

Indeed, host Kristen Kish, head judge Tom Colicchio, and the ever-present judge Gail Simmons are returning to the judges’ table for an exciting new season. An announcement reveals that the upcoming Season 23 of Bravo’s Top Chef “will be based in the burgeoning and diverse culinary scene of Charlotte, North Carolina, with several episodes set in Greenville, South Carolina.”

An announcement also teases what else is to come from the upcoming season of the Bravo show.

This season is set to highlight the finest aspects of southern hospitality, embracing the area’s rich history, agriculture, and outdoor environments, as a new group of talented and well-known chefs compete for the prestigious Top Chef title,” said the announcement for the new season. “With access to the region’s freshest ingredients and with high stakes at play, the chefs must deliver their best as they compete in Quickfire and Elimination Challenges that will test their skills, creativity, and culinary knowledge.”
