Fans received an inside look at their renewed dynamic on Saturday, August 2, when the duo showcased their exciting weekend together in the Hamptons.

In Kyle’s Instagram Stories, she shared their visit to the Surf Lodge in Montauk, where they enjoyed a live performance by Mojave Grey, a duo known for blending genres consisting of Zander Bleck and Michael Pozzi. Kyle uploaded a clip of her and Dorit dancing on the beachside deck, joined by Rachel Zoe, the celebrity stylist set to become a full-time Housewife in Season 15 of RHOBH.

Dorit captured the concert vibes on her Instagram as well, sharing videos of the lively Surf Lodge crowd and a snippet of herself, Kyle, and Rachel celebrating with friends.

Like many longtime pals, Kyle and Dorit have experienced their fair share of disagreements and quarrels; however, their lowest point played out in RHOBH Season 14, which also explored their respective marital splits. Viewers saw cracks forming in Season 13, as Kyle faced a wave of speculation about her marriage to Mauricio Umansky and friendship with country music singer Morgan Wade. Dorit had touched on the latter during her December 2023 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, saying she and Kyle became more distant once Morgan entered the picture.

“I feel like the closer she got to Morgan the further she got from me. But, I don’t think I’m the only one I just think that…” Dorit said. “Sorry, Kyle, I love you, but it’s the truth! It’s how I feel.”

The drama spilled over into Season 14, when it was revealed that Kyle was still texting Dorit’s estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley. Kyle insisted her communication with PK was light-hearted and consisted mostly of funny memes. The text controversy led to several heated exchanges before Kyle ultimately agreed to stop speaking to PK out of respect for her and Dorit’s friendship.

Fast-forward to May 2024, when the pair reunited at an engagement party for Kyle’s daughter Alexia Umansky.

“Dorit and I, thank God, we’re good,” Kyle said in a subsequent Amazon Live stream. “We haven’t really seen each other except at Alexia’s engagement dinner because of both of our schedules, but we’re good. So that makes me happy.”

Dorit shed more light on the friendship in a 2025 interview with Rollacoaster Magazine, explaining why her rift with Kyle may have strengthened their bond.

“If me and Kyle had not shared anything and I had left it, those things would eventually erode your soul — they’re inside of you in a fester,” she said. “If you don’t get things out, if you don’t make things right, if you allow people to treat you a certain way, you’re telling them that it’s okay. And it’s not. So when I made the decision ‘no longer,’ I think that’s the best decision I could have made.”
