The teenage mom Verphy Kudi parents are disheartened by the news. She is pleaded guilty to abandoning her toddler starve to death. 

Verphy is a teenage mom who trended after her daughter’s death, Asiah, in 2019.

On March 26, 2021, she was pleaded guilty in Lewes Crown Court to starving her daughter to death. In the interim, Kudi was partying for nearly six days, abandoning her 20-month-old daughter.

Asiah’s forensic test reported her death from influenza and starvation in December 2019. Kudi, now 19, has been jailed for nine years after pleading guilty.

Verphy Kudi’s parents and family are devasted after such horrific news.

In fact, the entire family has completely broken from this whole situation. “My heart is so broken. My daughter was missing,” says Verphy’s father, Muba Kudi.

Kudi’s sister Aisha Batrane stated that it had shattered the happiness of the family. It was found that Kudi was estranged from the family for a long time now.

Henceforth, the family members couldn’t facilitate as of where she has been for six days.

The CCTV showed Kudi leaving her apartment on Islingword Road on December 5 at 5:39 pm. Whereas, Verphy did not return until the evening of December 11 after partying for six days.

Then 18, Kudi went to a music concert where she had a DJ announce her 18th birthday. Upon coming home from partying, she found her daughter lying on the floor.

Before reacting, the next thing she knew was she failed 999 to say her baby was not waking up. Asiah was taken to Royal Alexandra children’s hospital however was confirmed dead on arrival.

It has been disclosed that Kudi left her daughter Asiah alone on 11 other occasions before the toddler’s death.
