Vijay Raghavendra family is the most sought-after topic following the death news of his beloved wife, Spandana Ragavendra.
Born in the film industry, Vijay Raghavendra has dominated Kannada films since the early 1880s. He is well-renowned for the movie Chinnari Mutha and Kotreshi Kanasu.
From bagging the National Film Award for best child artist to the reality show Big Boss, the actor Raghavendra hadn’t an easy start.
He enrolled in formal training in Chennai after starring in most unsuccessful films.
Vijay Raghavendra, aka Chinnari Mutha, belongs to the Cineplex family. Thus, they have been a great helping hand in his paramount career, from a child artist to a macho Kannada actor.

Vijay Raghavendra Family: Where Are They From?
The Kannada actor Vijay Raghavendra is the eldest son of the well-known producer SA Chinne Gowda and Jaymma.
Similarly, his paternal aunt, Parvathamma Rajkumar, is a notable producer of the Indian Film Industry, known for the production house Poornima Enterprises.
Also, Raghavendra grew up under the parental shade of his paternal uncle, Dr. Rakjumar, who is widely recognized as a matinee idol among Kannadigas.
Forbes has inducted Dr. Rajkumar’s movie Bangaarada Manushya on its list of “25 Greatest Acting Performances of Indian Cinema”.
Raghavendra’s paternal descendants, Puttaswamayya and Lakshmamma, hail from the theatrical background. They were a native of Singanalluru.

In 2007, he tied the knot with Spandana, who didn’t belong to filmy premises. She was the daughter of Assistant Commissioner of Police B. K. Shivaram.
Unfortunately, Raghavendra’s wife died due to cardiac arrest on 7 August 2023, before their 16th wedding anniversary.
The pair had a son, Shourya, whom they often featured on family picture frames.

The actor, Raghavendra, keeps his faith in the Hindu religion. Even his family follows the Hindu religion.
Most of his social media premises showcase him practicing Hinduism and celebrating Hindu festivals.

Raghavendra belongs to Indian nationality, while he holds an ethnicity of Kannada People. On the contrary, his wife, Spandana, hailed from the Tulu-speaking region.
Furthermore, the Raghavendra family, who hails from Banglore, also holds similar ethnicity. Both SA Chinne Gowda and Jaymma are Kannada people.

Vijay shares a close-knit bond with his younger brother, Srimurali, recognized for the Kannada movies- Kanti and Ugramm.
Murali hitched his Telegu beau, Vidhya, and now the couple are blessed with non-identical twins.
Regarding the film background, Raghavendra’s sister-in-law, Vidhya, also comes from the Kannada film industry.

Talking about his cousins, Shiva Rajkumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar, and Puneeth Rajkumar, are predominant personalities in Kannada cinema.
On the contrary, his cousin sisters, Laxmi and Poornima, aren’t active in the film industry. Shiva Rajkumar has spent over three decades enrolling in many films and bagging prestigious awards.
Like Raghavendra, Shiva Rajkumar commenced his career as a child artist in the mythological film Sri Srinivasa Kalyana.
Raghavendra Rajkumar played a notorious role in the 1989 film Nanjundi Kalyana.
Though he didn’t hit big with his debut movie, Chiranjeevi Sudhakar, in 1988, he had a breakthrough role with Nanjundi Kalyana a year later.
Next, he was involved in television series and movie production under Poornima Productions and Sri Vajreshwari Combines.
His younger cousin, Puneeth Rajkumar, is also a prominent figure in the Kannada film facet as an actor, playback singer, social activist, producer, and television host.
Moreover, he received National Film Award for best child artist for the Kannada movie Bettada Hoovu.
