Mr. Shariy told MPN News that he was recently made aware of an SBU assassination attempt after receiving a faked email from a friend trying to track down his daily locations.
Mr. Shariy’s address was published on the Myrotvorets (Peacemaker) internet database containing names of alleged “enemies of the state” despite being overseas since 2012.

Formerly a supporter of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his presidential campaign against previous President Petro Poroshenko.
In March, the arrested Youtuber was charged with “treason,” and his political party, the Shariy party, was banned by Mr. Zelensky.
