Javunte Wheeler (Squeak: nickname given by his mother) and Davion Hood were shot by a passenger in Squeak’s car, according to surveillance video from a Ring doorbell.

In addition, Pernell explained, “This person was in the car with him, and he knew him.” “He trusted him and drove him to his grandmother’s house, where he was conversing with him in the trunk, and this is what happened.”

A police representative said Tuesday that detectives evaluated surveillance video related to the shooting but offered no further details.

Javunte Wheeler, who goes by the name Squeak, most recently released the EP En Route in June, which he collaborated with fellow Pivot Gang artist MFnMelo.

Javunte Wheeler was a well-known DJ, and a producer for West Side hip hop collective Pivot Gang member.

Javunte was highly loved because of his work as a producer and a DJ SqueekPIVOT.

Squeak Pivot Gang Member Death

Javunte Wheeler got shot on Monday in Austin, USA.

The tragic incident occurred on Monday, at around 12:30 PM, St. Paul Avenue- 5000 blocks West. The incident was closer to Darion Hood’s home.

Javunte Wheeler, commonly known as Squeak, passed away along with his Uncle, Darion Hood. 

Darion Hood was also around Javunte Wheeler’s age, i.e., 27 years old.

Despite being rushed immediately to the nearby hospital. Mount Sinai Hospital, both, tragically could not be saved.

Furthermore, according to surveillance video from a Ring doorbell, the guys were killed by a passenger in Squeak’s car, according to Squeak’s younger sister Rayvita Pernell. 

According to Pernell, the footage shows the passenger jumping out, shooting both guys, getting back into Squeak’s car, and driving away.

In 2017, Pivot Gang suffered yet another devastating loss when one of their founding members, John Walt, was stabbed to death at the age of 24.

Saba, the cofounder of the Pivot Gang, was Walt’s cousin. Saba’s homage to Walt’s memory was the album Care For Me, released in 2018.

Javunte Wheeler, aka Squeak, was one of four children adopted by his late mother, who gave him the moniker Squeak when he was a toddler, according to his sister, Pernell.

Pheliswa Feni is currently 28 years old. 

The pair have two children of their own. However, the exact names of the kids are yet to be revealed.
