Is Jenna Coleman Pregnant With First Child?
The Victoria actress Jenna Coleman, 37, debuted her baby bump at a dinner to celebrate the opening of the new exhibition ‘Imaginary Conversations: An ERDEM Collection Inspired by Duchess Deborah’, at Chatsworth House on Wednesday night.
Jenna, looking stunning in a green flowery dress, held her growing baby close as she posed for pictures at the iconic location.
The good news was revealed six months after she was pictured wearing a large gold band on her wedding finger, leading admirers to speculate that she had wed her 35-year-old filmmaker beau Jamie Childs.
Having played Queen Victoria in the ITV drama, Jenna has previously joked that she had labor practice because Victoria had nine children. To prepare for the labor scenes, Jenna watched One Born Every Minute.
She stated, “I’m running out of noises for labor scenes,” during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show in 2019.
“I attempt to [modify it]… I recently gave birth to my seventh kid. Furthermore, in the time period in which the show is set, there is currently no pain treatment.
To be very honest, I feel like I sounded like a sheep on one thing I saw earlier if I get my adrenaline up and then forget about it till I see it again.
“I would just drink a ton of coffee, get really worked up, and maybe one day, if I ever gave birth, I would realize how wrong I was.”
Who Is Jenna Coleman?
Actress Jenna-Louise Coleman was born in Blackpool, England on April 27, 1986.
Her acting career started on television, where she portrayed Jasmine Thomas in the serial opera Emmerdale in 2005. She then had a recurring role in the BBC drama series Waterloo Road, which was set in a school. (2009).
Her first movie role was in the 2011 American superhero movie Captain America: The First Avenger. She also appeared in several British historical miniseries, such as Death Comes to Pemberley (2013) and Titanic (2012).
Coleman’s breakout performance was in the science fiction BBC One series Doctor Who as Clara Oswald, companion to the Eleventh and Twelfth versions of the Doctor.
She made a brief surprise appearance in 2017 after serving as a regular character from 2012 to 2015. She subsequently starred in the criminal miniseries The Cry (2018) and The Serpent (2021), leading the casts as Queen Victoria in the historical drama Victoria (2016–2019). She played Johanna Constantine in the fantasy drama series The Sandman on Netflix in 2022.
Coleman has made other film appearances in the thriller Jackdaw (2023) directed by Jamie Childs and the dark comedy Klokkenluider (2022) by Neil Maskell.
Coleman made her theatrical debut in the 2019 production of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons as Ann Deever.
She debuted on the West End, costarring with Aidan Turner in the 2023 revival of Sam Steiner’s Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons.
She has been recognized with several honors, including nominations for the BAFTA Cymru and BAFTA Scotland Awards, as well as an International Emmy Award.
