The Netflix show “The Mole,” which is a remake of the ABC show of the same name that was a cult favorite from 2001 to 2008, is a competition show that is almost entirely based on lies, skepticism, and paranoia. It is simply riveting.

That’s because it has 12 players who are all trying to win money for the total prize pot, but only one of them will get to take it home. Another player is actively and secretly trying to mess everything up. So, now that the first eight episodes of the first season have finally come out, let’s look into whether or not the real Thor, William “Will” Richardson, could be the saboteur.

Is Will Richardson the Spy?

As soon as Will entered the game on the Australian terrain, he made it clear that his plan was to be “very dominant” to try to get the group to agree with him. So, it was clear that his goal was “to get as much money as he could and to trick as many people as he could.” I want some people to think I’m the mole at the end of the day.” But the most amazing thing is that he was able to do it. After day one, he used a private mission to earn an extra $5,000 while also putting a lot of suspicion on his head.

But the fact that Will almost always got more money (or tried to) without hesitating or stalling seemed to change people’s minds, since the mole would never do something like that. He also showed over and over again that he was naturally competitive by giving his all in every challenge. Will wasn’t able to do much in the next assignment, which was to rob a bank, because their “critical thinker” couldn’t figure out the clues. However, he made up for it in the mail delivery challenge. Yes, it was strange that he insisted on finishing the mountain mission even though the rest of the group wanted him to sit out, but his reasons made sense. Even though he wasn’t happy with the decision, he went along with it in the end. He later said that he also “wanted to be there to make sure the [physically challenging] challenge was finished.”

Will continued to be both physically and mentally in charge as time went on. He seemed to be doing his best to make sure they beat the mole, but Joi Schweitzer was still pretty skeptical of him. She never really explained her theory, which is strange, and we can’t deny that many people (including Will) often think she’s the mole because she didn’t contribute much at first.

In other words, after thinking about everything, we don’t think Will is the saboteur. He’s too competitive, too open, and too committed to each situation to do it on purpose. Still, it’s important to remember that the lifelong Nevadan is the one who said, “The person you suspect the least is the person you should suspect the most,” so we could be totally wrong.
