Here is everything you need to know.

Madonna took care of her younger brother despite their complicated relationship

Relatives of Madonna revealed to TMZ that the 64-year-old singer has been paying the bill for Anthony Ciccone’s stay at a rehab facility in Michigan.

Moreover, the news suggests that Ciccone has been residing in the center for quite a while. In addition, he removed the feeding/breathing tubes that the doctors had him using two days before his death.

Besides that, sources claim that Ciccone’s health was failing towards the end. He seemingly lost tons of weight.

Furthermore, Ciccone was reportedly aware of the outcome when he decided to remove the equipment which ultimately led to his death.

Insiders claim that a few of his family members including his father Silvio Ciccone and his other sister Paula had been visiting him in his final days.

Additionally, Paula was at Ciccone’s bedside for most of her time. Ciccone supposedly lived as a homeless man for multiple years during his life and at one point also lived under a bridge.

A source shared, ‘Madonna helped to support her brother when he would accept that support. During his final months, he was in contact with family and Madonna, but this past week, he refused the support the rehab facility offered, and it was clear he was ready to move on.’

Ciccone talked about his family during an interview back in 2011.

He said, ‘I’m a zero in their eyes — a non-person. I’m an embarrassment. If I froze to death, my family probably wouldn’t know or care about it for six months.’
