Born October 10, 1961, Aston Donald McEachin was a politician and a lawyer. He attended St. Christopher’s school and graduated from American University with a bachelor’s in political history. He also attended the University of Virginia school of law with a J.D.He completed his master’s from Virginia Union University with a master’s in divinity. He has been the U.S representative for Virginia’s 4th congressional district since 2017.
He became the first African American to be nominated for attorney General In Virginia and also the third African American to be elected to Congress from Virginia.
Donald was married to Colette and was blessed with three children. He was reelected and won the midterm elections in 2022.
In 2014 he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer, and on November 28, at the age of 61, he passed away. His wife and his children survived him.
