Kim Plath, a naturopathic physician, is a divorced mother of nine kids with her ex-husband Barry.
The Georgia-based family is the subject of the Welcome to Plathville reality television program on TLC.
The 11-member family regularly played gospel music together and has deep roots in Christianity. The Plath Family Band was their name.

Before announcing their separation on June 28, 2022, Barry and Kim had been wed for more than 20 years.
Kim previously acknowledged being married to Barry sometime in July 1997.

In a sad tragedy in September 2008, one of her children, Joshua, perished.

In Florida, Kim Plath was detained for a DUI and causing damage to property.
The U.S. Sun is able to confirm that 50-year-old Kim was detained on October 20 at 2:08am for DUI, property damage, and personal injury.
The Wakulla County Corrections confirmed Kim’s release from custody to The U.S. Sun.
The U.S. Sun was able to secure a mugshot of Kim, who scowled and had tears in her eyes.
