After reportedly sexually abusing a woman in a Perth hotel room on September 28, 2024, Yung Filly, whose full name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was taken into custody in Brisbane on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
He is charged with four counts of unconsented sexual penetration, three charges of assault resulting in bodily damage, and one count of obstructing someone’s ability to breathe or circulate normally by placing pressure on or near their neck.
On October 9, 2024, he was sent to Perth by extradition.
He appeared at the Perth Magistrates’ Court for his initial hearing on 10 October 2024, where he was granted conditional bail; enforcing a ban on discussing the case on social media and contacting the alleged victim.

Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos born 6 August 1995 in Cali, Colombia.
He is known professionally as Yung Filly or simply Filly.
He is a British YouTuber with 1.83 million subscribers and a total views of 119 million.
In 2013, he started his YouTube career, and in 2017, he started his music career.
He started appearing on a lot of BBC broadcasts in 2018, some of which he hosted.
Valencia Barrientos credits grime music and his Colombian background as major influences on his musical career. “Take Time” was his first song, which he released in 2017.
In 2018, he will release two tracks: “Mucho Mas” and “La Paila”. His 2020 single “Confidence” featured Chunkz and Geko.
“Clean Up” and “Hold,” two more songs he would record with Chunkz in 2020, reached number 67 and 29, respectively, on the UK Singles Chart. He was also featured on “Again” by Javan.
“100 Bags Freestyle” was his 2021 release. In an interview with GRM Daily, he revealed the release of a mixtape called Last Laugh.
A new track called “Long Time” and a follow-up called “Day to Day” with fellow British rapper and composer Chip were released by him in 2022. He released the singles “Tempted” and “Grey” in 2024.
