Three people were shot dead inside a car outside a swank short-term rental home in a ritzy Los Angeles neighborhood early Saturday morning.

Los Angeles Police said four other people were wounded in the shooting, which took place at about 2:30 a.m. in the Beverly Crest neighborhood, the Associated Press reported.

Police Sgt. Bruce Borhaub said that two of the wounded were taken to hospitals in private and vehicles and two by ambulance. Two were in critical condition and two in stable condition, he said.

Borihaub said investigators have no information on suspects, including whether anyone was in custody.

Police told KNBC that a party was being held at the multi-million home. They identified the dead as two men and a woman but did not provide names or ages.

The Beverly Crest neighborhood hosts large and expensive homes, tucked into the Santa Monica Mountains. The home where the shooting took place is on a cul-de-sac.

The shooting follows closely on the heels of a mass shooting at a Lunar New Year celebration in Monterey Park that that left 11 dead and nine wounded and a pair of shootings at farms in Half Moon Bay that left seven dead and one wounded.

Huu Can Tran, 72, killed himself after the Star Dance Studio shooting and an attempted shooting at another dance hall that an employee thwarted, as CrimeOnline reported. Chunli Zhao, 66, has been charged with murder for the farm shootings, one at a mushroom farm where he worked and the second at a farm where he had previously worked.
