GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Amber Dozier, 32, was arrested yesterday on a warrant for second-degree murder out of Orange County, Florida, as she was boarding a bus to leave Gainesville.

On Saturday, August 16, just after 5:50 p.m., members of the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit, as well as members of their K9 unit, responded to the area of the Rosa Parks Transfer Station located at 700 SE 3rd Street, Gainesville, in an attempt to locate 32-year-old Amber Dozier, who had an active warrant for second-degree murder out of Orange County, Florida.

While in the area, Investigators saw Dozier boarding a bus in an effort to leave town. Investigators boarded the bus and took Dozier into custody without incident.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that Dozier’s warrant stems from the August 2nd shooting death of Javore Tyleek Bentley in their county.
