Police in Hawaii are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman in separate locations they believe could be connected.
Honolulu Police said they found the body of 36-year-old Johnalynn Ilae, a bank employee, early Sunday afternoon in a Waikele apartment, the Honolulu Star Advertiser reported. She was last seen by family members Wednesday night driving her Nissan Altima. Police said they found the vehicle in the Waikele area late Friday morning.
KITV said the townhome where Ilae’s body was found is nearly half a mile away and across a neighborhood park from the spot where the car was located. Investigators also said that the apartment is listed as an address for 46-year-old Frank Camaro, who was reported missing early Thursday morning and found dead later in the day at the Ala Moana Hotel. A missing person notice issued before he was found said he “may be emotionally distraught.”
Investigators are looking to see if Camaro, a litigation paralegal, had anything to do with Ilae’s disappearancee. The missing persons reports were filed within five minutes of each other, they said.
KITV said that social media posts indicated Camaro is a father who was recently estranged from his wife. Camaro’s wife and Ilae appear to be connected on Facebook. A cover photo posted Saturday on the estranged wife’s page shows her together with Ilae.

Both cases have been classified as unattended deaths while the investigations continue.
