BOLO: Critical Missing Person Alert Issued for Alabama Man, Possible Danger to Self and Others

A critical missing person alert has been issued for an Alabama man.

Rodney Lavett, 43, went missing Thursday from the Gardendale area. Lavett is described as a bald man with brown eyes. He stands 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 208 pounds.

Lavett was last seen driving a silver Tesla Cybertruck. The vehicle has an Alabama license plate A29067. It is unknown what Lavett was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Law enforcement believes that Lavett may be a danger to himself and possibly others. He is known to carry multiple weapons, according to ABC 3340.

The Birmingham Police Department urges anyone with information on Lavett’s whereabouts not to approach him, but to exercise extreme caution and contact them immediately at (205) 328-9311.
