Indianapolis police issued a Silver Alert for a teen who hasn’t been seen since Friday, and considered to be in immediate danger.
According to police, Destanee Williams, 19, disappeared around 3:30 a.m. on Friday from a home in the 7800 block of Penobscot Drive, on the city’s east side near Brookville Road.
NBC 13 reports that a spokesperson from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department stated that Williams’ former boyfriend, Cieyon Wheeler, 28, forcefully entered her home with a gun and forced her out of the residence.
Police reportedly said that it’s unclear whether the pair left by foot or a vehicle.
Williams is described as a Black female standing 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds. She has shoulder-length dreads in brown, black, blonde, and blue, along with brown eyes.
When she disappeared, Williams was wearing a black hoodie and gray pants featuring black letters. She has a lip piercing and a neck tattoo.
“It is believed that Destanee is in immediate danger,” IMPD said in a message. “If either Destanee Williams OR Cieyon Wheeler are located, please call 911 immediately.”
