An SUV discovered on Tuesday appears to match the vehicle description linked to a missing Massachusetts woman, last seen on Friday.
Joanne Brown, 30, had informed colleagues at Bean Counter Bakery Cafe that she needed to leave for a personal reason she didn’t disclose. Since then, she has not made contact. WCVB reported that Worcester police were spotted at Green Hill Towers’ parking lot, where a vehicle resembling the one sought in connection with Brown’s disappearance was found.
The medical examiner’s van was also present, according to the news outlet. The SUV was placed under a white tent for examination before being towed from the scene.
Authorities expressed “heightened concern for her safety,” though they did not elaborate further.
Brown might be located in the Holyoke or Springfield areas and could be driving a 2025 gray Mitsubishi Outlander, bearing the Massachusetts license plate 5GPN93. She is described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall with hazel eyes.
Anyone with information regarding Brown’s whereabouts should call Worcester police at 508-799-8606.
