An Arkansas couple was found murdered on a hiking trial in a state park on Saturday.

Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, were hiking with their 7- and 9-year-old daughters at the time, Arkansas State Police said. The girls were not physically harmed and are with family.

Police said the suspect, who has not been identified, was wearing a long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

“The suspect is an unknown white male with a medium build,” Police said. “He was wearing dark pants, a dark ballcap and sunglasses. The suspect had a black backpack and was wearing fingerless gloves. He was seen driving toward a park exit in a black, four-door sedan.”

Investigators say the vehicle may have been a Mazda and had its license plate covered by electrical or duct tape.

The Brinks had recently moved to Arkansas from another state, police said. According to Facebook, that state was Montana.

Police have asked anyone visiting the park on Saturday to check photos or videos they may have taken for images of the suspect. They’re also seekig surveillance and game camera video from residents in the area surrounding the park.
