Police were reportedly called to the home of Celeste Rivas, a California girl found dead last month, at least 11 times.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Celeste fled her family’s Lake Elsinore home numerous times before police found her deceased in September, in the trunk of a Tesla belonging to singer D4vd, whose legal name is David Burke.

According to police records obtained by TMZ, deputies responded to her family’s home between February 2024 and April 2025, following numerous calls to police.

On March 19, 2024, police reportedly came to the home three times on the same day, after numerous calls were made. Although details in the police report are limited, law enforcement listed most of the calls as a “minor crime investigation,” and another call as “suspicious circumstances.”

Celeste ran away that same day, with security footage from a liquor store showing the teen “running down the street.”

Police would later find Burke’s vehicle at a tow yard in Hollywood. Neighbors near his Hollywood Hills rental home contacted police about an abandoned car with a Texas license plate on September 6.

The vehicle had been at the lot for several days before police made the discovery. Police said Celeste’s body had been dismembered, put in a bag and left in the front trunk.

Police found Celeste’s remains just one day after she turned 15, “severely decomposed,” meaning she likely died at age 14.

Although her manner of death has been listed as a homicide, it’s unclear whether it happened due to foul play or a possible drug overdose. Investigators are currently waiting on a toxicology report.

Toxicology reports can take several months, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

So far, Burke has not been arrested or named as a suspect.
