Law enforcement officials in Nashville say an active investigation has started after a school shooting Monday morning.
According to the Nashville Fire Department, law enforcement responded to The Covenant School, a private Christian school off of 33 Burton Hills Blvd. in Nashville, on Monday morning, concerning an “active aggressor.”
The fire department said it “can confirm we have multiple patients,” and parents “should go to 20 Burton Hills at this time,” while the Tennessean reports that “student reunification with parents is at Woodmont Baptist Church at 2100 Woodmont Blvd.”
Scoop Nashville reports that “multiple victims” are down after a “mass casualty” and that the shooter, who reportedly engaged with police, is now dead.
