On Monday night, an Oklahoma woman faced charges following a shooting incident involving her former partner.
According to Tulsa Police, Appollonia Goudeau arrived at her ex-partner’s residence around 7 p.m. to collect their children, aged 8 and 10. A woman present at the scene reported that Goudeau appeared visibly upset and was yelling during the encounter.
The same witness recounted that Goudeau discharged multiple shots, with one bullet grazing her ex-partner’s leg. The gunfire also struck the house, but no other injuries were reported.
Following the shooting, Goudeau departed the location in her van, taking the children with her.
Shortly thereafter, Goudeau contacted the police, expressing her desire to share her version of events. She claimed that her ex-partner had attacked her, prompting her to fire shots “into the air” to ward off him and the accompanying woman.
Officers retrieved doorbell camera footage of the incident, which showed Goudeau firing a the house “and no one ever being attacked.”
Goodeau has been charged with three counts of shooting with intent to kill.
