GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A judge has ordered that Ja’zier Antonio Myers, 20, of Ocala, be held without bond on two counts of first-degree homicide.
Myers was arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly shooting one person in the head at close range in the 800 block of W. University Avenue and then shooting a second man outside Checkers; both men died. He also allegedly shot a third man who was able to flag down officers and provide a statement.

According to court documents, Myers has no adult criminal convictions but has juvenile convictions between 2018 and 2020 and has an active warrant out of Marion County.
Judge Walter Green ordered Myers held without bond on the two homicide counts and set bond at $150,000 on the attempted homicide charge.
