A substantial reward of $50,000 is being offered for any information that could lead to the arrest of a California man, who is a suspect in the death of his partner and the mysterious disappearance of their two young children.
The FBI has announced a reward of up to $25,000 for tips that result in the capture and conviction of Camron Lee. An additional $25,000 is available for information that helps locate his children, Athena Lee, aged 5, and Mateo Lee, aged 3, according to a report by The Bee.
Sacramento police responded to an urgent call at a residence in North Sacramento shortly before 7:30 p.m. on July 8, 2024, where they discovered the lifeless body of Angelica Bravo. At that time, the children, then aged 4 and 2, were missing from the home, as previously reported by CrimeOnline.
Investigators noted that Bravo’s body bore multiple “abrasions and contusions” on her torso, head, face, and limbs. There were also signs of tongue hemorrhaging and potential smothering, raising suspicions of foul play.
Although toxicology reports found substances such as MDMA, MDA, and cannabinoids in Bravo’s system, officials have not dismissed the possibility of homicide. Consequently, Lee faces murder charges in connection with her death.
“Bravo’s family has suffered for over a year as they mourn the loss of Angelica and fear for the safety of Athena and Mateo,” Sid Patel, the Special Agent in Charge with the FBI Sacramento, said in a statement.
“We urge anyone with information related to the whereabouts of Lee and his children to come forward.”
On July 10, 2024, a vehicle believed to be driven by Lee entered Mexico, the Sacramento Police Department said. The vehicle, a 2023 Honda Passport, had reportedly been a loaner vehicle from a dealership.
Police later found the vehicle abandoned in Ensenada.
In addition to murder, Lee has been charged with four counts of possession of an assault weapon. He also has a federal warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
Anyone with information was asked to contact the FBI at 800-CALL-FBI (225-5324), online at tips.fbi.gov, or call Sacramento police at 916-808-5471. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
